Show December rites unite Siilitoe and Merrill ncyland before returning to St. George where she is employed em-ployed at Hunt's House of Beauty and he la a sophomore at Dixie College. The bride Is a graduate of Orom High School and Seminary Sem-inary where she was active in FHA and Pop Club. She attended at-tended Barren's College of Beauty in Orem and graduated graduat-ed from the Cosmetology College Col-lege of Southern Utah. The bridegroom graduated from Dixie High School and Seminary. He also spent three years in the United States Army serving in Vietnam and Germany. On Decemlber 20 the newly-weds newly-weds were further honored at an open house at the Merrill residence in St. George. The house was beautifully decorated decor-ated for the holiday season. Prior to the wedding a personal per-sonal shower was held at the bride's apartment in St. George hosted by friends, Mrs. Lynn Holyoak and Miss Carolyn Caro-lyn Hauker. MR. AND MRS. DAVID MERRILL Miss Lynda Siilitoe became the bride of David Merrill December De-cember 16. The Enchanted Garden was the setting for the wedding and for the reception which followed. Bishop Walter Cox of the St. George 7th Ward officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. C. Delroy Siilitoe, Sii-litoe, Cedar and Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Merrill, St. George. Bafore the wedding a buiffet dinner was served at the Siilitoe Sii-litoe home to friends and relatives re-latives of the couple. The bride wore a gown of white bridal satin trimmed with Chantilly Lace, and featuring fea-turing a train. A veil of bridal illusion was trimmed with lace from her mother's wedding wed-ding veil and was held by her molther's crown. She carried a bouquet of red carnations centered cen-tered by a white orchid. Maid at honor was Miss Debra Siilitoe and bridesmaids brides-maids were Miss Gaylene Howell , and Mrs. Lynn Holy- oak. Flower girls were Trina SillLtoe and Oasandra Merrill. All attendants wore floor -length dresses of red crepe with a white trim at the empire waistlines. Steven Duke stood as best man. The mothers of the bridal pair wore red polyester double knit, floor length dresses with short sleeves and a silver trim at the neckline and around the short sleeves. Their corsages cor-sages were a red carnation surrounded by white ones. A special attraction at the wedding was the four tiered-wedding tiered-wedding cake made by the bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. L. M. Merrill of Pimgree, Idaho. The elegant cake featured fea-tured a waterfall in the center. cen-ter. Refreshments were served by Misses Carolyn Howell, Kelly Siilitoe, and Lanette and Nadiine Merrill. Miss Belinda Merrill presided presid-ed at the guest book and Miss Brenda Howell passed out Thank You notes. Helping with the gifts were Mrs. Jay Siilitoe and Mrs. Grant Howell. How-ell.
