Show Temple Marriage to be stressed at Stake Conference The first quarterly conference confer-ence of Parowan Stake for 1970 will be held here this week end, Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and President Howard D. Knighr gives out the following details concerning the conference. Elder James A. Cullimore, an assistant to the council of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church, has been assigned assign-ed to attend the conference, which has as its theme "Temple "Tem-ple Marriage" which themo will be stressed at the two sessions by Elder Cullimore and local stake members. The first session will be held Saturday at 7 p. m. in the First-Second Ward chapel. Instead of this meeting being the usual stake leaadership meeting, it will be devoted to the theme and all members )f the stake, 16 years of age and over, who are not yet married, are extended a special spe-cial invitation to attend. The theme will be carried over to the general session Sunday at 10 a. m. in the Third Ward church, wo understand, under-stand, and the entire stake membership is urged to attend, at-tend, as well as visitors. The .take presidency has called together a stake choir made ip of members from all wards, to furnish special musical 'lumbers. Scott Potter will died di-ed the choir and Ernest Ahl-born Ahl-born will be accompanist. The Parowan First Ward Sunday School will conduct a Junior Sunday . School session in the First-Second Ward chapel cha-pel during the time the general gen-eral session is. underway we ire informed. President Knight -tates that the usual sacramental sacra-mental meeting will be held 'n the various wards on Sun-lay Sun-lay afternoon at the usual hour. |
