KURTESS WALKER St. George Temple ceremony unites Judy Lynn Dalton and Kurtess Walker With Milton S. Earl of the St. George LDS Temple presidency presi-dency officiating in the double-ring ceremony, Miss Judy Lynn Dalton became the bride of Mr. Kurtess Walker on Saturday, Sat-urday, March. ine Dnae is a ciaugnier oi Mr. and Mrs. John S. Dalton, Jr., and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Walker, all of Parowan. The newlyweds were honored honor-ed at a reception, hosted by the parents of the bride, on Saturday, March 15 in the ; Third Ward cultural hall For her marriage and the reception re-ception the bride wore a white satin gown with heavy lace overlay on skirt and bodice, and a shoulder-length veil. Her bridal bouquet was of yellow roses and white carnations. Bridal attendants included her sisters, Miss Linda Jean Dalton, and Miss Angie Kol-leen Kol-leen Dalton, and the Misses Carol Ann Adams, Cheryl Jones and Fae Benson. They wore aqua blue dresses and yellow flower headpieces and carried bouquets of yellow and white daisies. The hall was decorated in a spring motif of blue and yellow and white flowers. Jim Adams stood as best man from the bridegroom and ushers were Gary Simkins, Jerry Trimmer, Scott Day, and Xevin Walker, the latter a brother of the bridegroom. Mothers of both bride and bridegroom wore yellow floor-length floor-length dresses and yellow flowers. For her going-away costume cos-tume the bride wore a peach afternoon dress, with white shoes and bag. Their honeymoon honey-moon consisted of a week in Las Vegas and California The new Mrs. Walker is a senior at Parowan High School and the bridegroom is a graduate grad-uate of the same school and has attended two quarters at College of Southern Utah. He is a professional ski patrolman patrol-man and is head patrolman at the Brian Head Ski Resort now. At the reception Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Morgan and Mrs. Jay Graff sisters of the bride were at the guest register; the Misses P.farie Farnsworth and Alene Pendleton were at the gift ta- j I ble. Refreshments were cater-' cater-' ed by Mrs. LaRene Brodshaw. Serving were Sheri Price, Shelly Shel-ly Cartwright and Cindy Evans. j |
