Dr. Halversen is a graduate gradu-ate of Cedar High School and attended CSU for two years. He obtained his B. S. degree from the University of Utah and then went on to get his M.D. degree in June, 1967, from the U of U College of Medicine. Medi-cine. He has just finished his internship with the University affiliated hospitals in Salt Lake and has now begun residency re-sidency in General Surgery wjth the University affiliated hospitals in Salt Lake. CHAD HALVERSEN Judith Ann Ernry, Dr. Chad Halversen Exchange Marriage Vows June 27th. and children, Michelle and Alicia, Al-icia, El Monte, Calif.; and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Huntsman and children, Lori Lyn and Eric, Albuquerque, N.sw Mexico. Mex-ico. The bride wore a taylored yellow dress with yellow ac-wssorles'as ac-wssorles'as a going-away coslinrtT The newlyweds honeymooned honeymoon-ed briefly at Zion Canyon. Pre-nuptial parties were given gi-ven by Misses Shelly Livingston, Living-ston, Diana Wright, Joan Win-tch, Win-tch, Mrs. Elliott Wintch, and Mrs. Rod Simonsen. A rehearsal dinner was given gi-ven by Mrs. Emry at the Sugar Sug-ar Loaf Cafe in Cedar City. The bride is a graduate of Sun Valley High School in Monroe, N. C. and the Presby- St. George Temple rites united un-ited Dr. Chad Halversen and Miss Judith Ann Emry on June 27. President Rudger At-kin At-kin officiated at the double ring ceremony. Professor and Mrs. R. L. Halversen, Hal-versen, Cedar City, are the bridegroom's- parents, and Mrs. Jay O. Emry and the late Mr. Emry of Salt Lake City are the bride's parents. The newlyweds greeted their guests at a reception in the CSU Family Living Center on the evening of June 27. The bride wore a floor-length floor-length gown of Rose lace over an organza and satin underlining under-lining with a shoulder length train. Her shoulder length veil was of Rose lace and pearl. She carried a cascade bouquet of white elegant carnations, car-nations, yellow roses and lil -ly of the valley. I Maid of honor, Miss Shelly Livingston, and bridesmaids, Misses Joan Wintch, Diana Wright, and Mrs. Roy Jacklin wore formals of yellow striped voil over a yellow underlining. Jr. bridesmaids, Misses Michelle Mich-elle Milne and Lorilyn Huntsman Hunts-man wore green voil. The attendants at-tendants carried wicker baskets bas-kets of yellow and white daisies dais-ies picked fresh from the garden. gar-den. Jerry Green was best man with Sam Chamberlain, Jerry Emry, Paul Boyach, and Charles Char-les Monigan as ushers. Mrs. Emry wore a floor length dress of lime green linen lin-en and lace. Mrs. Halversen's floor length gown was a lime green crepe. Both mothers wore corsages of white glamellias glam-ellias and white rose buds. Hosts and hostesses for the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Huntsman and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Milne. Kitchen hostesses were: Mrs. Wanda Cox, Mrs. Jean Bunting, Mrs. Mildred Nelson, Mrs. Ada Carpenter, Mrs. Or-ma Or-ma Wood, Mrs. Iris Corry, Mrs. Loa Johnson, Mrs. Janice Ol-sen, Ol-sen, Mrs. Phyllis Cooley, Mrs. Fern Hunter, Mrs. Hazel Urie, and Mrs. Lynda Madsen. Serving the refreshments were Kim Wintch, Jeri Bunting, Bunt-ing, Brenda Bunting, Debbie Bunting, and Vickie Green. Music for the evening was furnished by a String Ensemble Ensem-ble consisting of Evelyn Jones, Robert Bradshaw, Carol Ann Jones, June Thorley, and Mad-el Mad-el in Payne. Out-of-town guests for the reception were: Mrs. Jay Emry, Em-ry, mother of the bride; Jerry, Jan. Jeff, and Emry Matthews, North Carolina: Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L, E. Johnson, Xorth Hollywood. Calif.; an uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs.1 R. G. Lohman and children Vickie, Julie and Scott, Newport New-port Beach, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Wintch and sons Jim and Kim.
