Show f 1 Saturday Marriage , Ceremony Unites i Shirley Rollins and Steven W. Harton Mr. Steven W. Harton of Milford claimed Miss Shirley Rollins of Parowan as his ! bride last Saturday evening in marriage rites which took place in the Relief Society room of the Third Ward Church, with Bishop Veil Taylor Tay-lor officiating in the single ring ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Rollins, Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Leo W. Harton of Milford. Following the wedding the young couple was honored at a reception held in the cultural cul-tural hall of the church. For this event the bride wore a white brocade, A-line dress with tapered sleeves and long train. Her elbow-length bridal bri-dal veil was fastened with a bow and she carried a bouquet bou-quet of yellow tipped carnations carna-tions and yellow roses. Her attendants were Fae Benson, maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Karen Robb, her sister; Miss Cheryl Jones, and Miss Jacquelin Bowen. They wore A-line dresses of yellow dotted Swiss with puffed sleeves and carried car-ried carnations and roses. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was Allen Rich. For the occasion the mother moth-er of the bride was dressed in beige and white and the mother of the bridegroom was dressed in pink and white. Following the reception the couple left for LeGrande, Ore. where they will make a home and he will be employed as a railroad worker. The bride has attended Parowan High School and the bridegroom is a graduate of Milford High and has attended College of Southern Utah for one year. Miss Mary Ann Evans had charge of the guest register, and the Misses Gail Bentley, Sherrie Dawn Dalton and April Ap-ril Rollins displayed the gifts. Mrs. Arlene Warren and Mrs. Geraldine Rollins were in charge of refreshments with Carol Ann Adams, Marsha Stubbs, Beverly Harris, Jackie Jack-ie Warren, Susan Warren and Cindy Robb, serving The bride was honored at a bridal shower given by her sister, Mrs. Karen Robb prior to her marriage. |
