Show Linda Banks, Barry Wood Recite Vows in Temple I Miss Linda Banks, daughter , of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lee Banks, and Barry Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max H. Wood, were wed In rites solemnized In the St. Oorge LDS Temple on July 20. President Rudger Atkin of-' ficlated at the double ring' ceremony which united the young Cedar City couple. The bridegroom's parents hosted a wedding breakfast at the Trafalga Restaurant In St.! George following the wedding, and then the newlyweds were1 feted at a reception in the Ce-, dar Third Ward Cultural Hall later that same evening. The bride's floor-length gown of white satin with white laca cut outs featured an empire waist and long pointed sleeves. The elbow length veil draped down from a satin flower trimmed with pearls. Completing the bridal pictur.3 was the corsage of white and yellow roses accented ac-cented with white and yellow streamers. The bride was attended by Miss Judy Walker as maid of honor and sisters of the bridegroom bride-groom and bride, Misses Wendy Wen-dy Wood, Joyce Banks, and Bonnie Banks. Miss Jodi Banks was flower girl for her sister. The attendants wore yellow empire dresses and held yellow yel-low and white daisies tied with green ribbon. The flower girl carried a green basket of yellow and white daisies. John Misel was best man and Gary Banks, L. D. Walker, and Danny Webster ushered.. Gla-1 mellia corsages completed the, ensembles. Miss Sherrie Chamberlain 1 presided at the guest book, ! and an aunt of the bride, Lulu Thorley supervised the serving serv-ing table. Serving of the refreshments which were catered by Lalene Bradshaw was done by Joette Corry, Sharon Webster, Margaret Mar-garet Wade, Kay Pearce, Donna Don-na Klingonsmith, and Loretta Banks. Mrs. Bradshaw also made ' the wedding cake, and Laura Bills decorated the area in yellow and white with accents of green. Aunts of the bride, Leah Pearce and Corrine Stout were in charge of the gift table. Many out of town relatives of both the bride and bridegroom bride-groom were in attendance . at the reception. The bride was honored at a personal shower given by Misses Judy Walker and Sherrie Sher-rie Chamberlain' prior to the wedding date. A green Sarano shift was worn by the bride as a going away costume. Both the bride and bridegroom bride-groom graduated from Cedar High in 1967 and both attended attend-ed CSU. The newlyweds will make their home in Cedar City and the bridegroom will continue con-tinue in his. employment at Coca Cola Bottling Co. Dr. and Mrs. Robert Sigf rid spent last weekend visiting in New Castle. |
