Show Lois Klingonsmith, active Civic Worker dies; Services held 0 Lois Joice . Ashworth Klingonsmith, 79, died June 10, 1979 of natural causes in the Valley View Medical Center . in Cedar City. She was born July 8, 1899 in Beaver to Oliver Either and Almira Emerette Goodwin Ashworth. She married her sweetheart Moroni D. Klingonsmith May 22, 1918 in Beaver. He preceded her in death March 22, 1978. She was a member of the LDS Church, past president of Aunt Margaret Camp of the DUP, past. president of Ladies World War I Auxiliary, past member and held an office in the American Legion Auxiliary and active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW No. 310. She was a graduate of Murdock Academy in Beaver. Survivors include three sons and three daughters; Oliver Moroni of Hacienda Heights, California, . Clyde of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leo 'Swede' of Cedar City, Mrs. Max (Lois) Barton of North Las Veas, Nevada, Mrs. Floyd (Ila) Robinson of Cedar City, Mrs. Everette James (Carma) McColloch of Hooper. Two children preceded her in death; an infant son Dan and daughter Helen K. Michael; 37 grandchildren and 67 great grandchildren; one brother John Albert Ashworth of Beaver. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Cedar City 12th Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop L. Dee Watson conducting. A viewing was held at the Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary Tuesday evening and prior to services. Interment in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
