Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Ellen Tait Mulliner I Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Tait Mulliner, a life-long resident resi-dent of Cedar City, who died of causes incident to age, were held at the First ward chapel Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Mrs. Mulliner was born in Cedar Ce-dar City on Aug. 16, 1870, a daughter of early Utah pioneers William and Elizabeth Tait. She died Sunday morning. She attended school in Cedar City and on Dec. 23, 1892 was married to Samuel Berry Mulliner Mulli-ner of Lehi in Cedar City. Mr. Mulliner died in 1919. Four of her eight sons and daughters survive her. They are: Mrs. Harriet Hunter, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Parry, and Vincent Mulliner Mulli-ner of Cedar City, and Bernard Mulliner of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mulliner is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 23 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. The services were conducted by H. P. Dotson, with William R. Palmer, Samuel F. Leigh and Charles R. Hunter as speakers. Invocation was by George W. Grimshaw, benediction by C. William Wil-liam Macfarlane, and the dedicatory dedica-tory prayer at the cemetery by Fernleigh Gardner. Prayer at the home prior to the services was by Wm. S. Greenwood of Richfield. Rich-field. The musical program included two selections, "Oh My Father", and "Lead Me Gently Home", by a mixed quartet composed of Miss Mamie Eck, Mrs. Lois Me-Connell, Me-Connell, Ray Cosslett and C. William Wil-liam Macfarlane; a vocal duet, "Sing Me to Sleep", by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wood, and a vocal solo, "When We Meet Together", by Ray Cosslett. Mrs. Beth Leigh was accompanist. |
