Show Death of Charles E. Thompson. Charles E. Thompson died last Tuesday, Tues-day, after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Thompson was born at Belleville, Ills., forty-seven years ago. He leaves a wife, two daughters and a son. He had resided in Salt Lake for twenty-five twenty-five years, and had been head waiter at the Cullen hotel for fourteen years. Patrons of the hotel will regret to hear of his death, and many warm friends mourn the loss of a dear friend, a plain, honest citizen, who merited the esteem of all. His funeral took place from the family fam-ily residence. 524 South Sixth East street, on Thursday afternoon, under the auspices of the A. O. IT. W. Rev. Father Curran officiated, and paid :, well-merited tribute to the life and character of the deceased. The Intermountain Catholic unites with hosts of friends in extending earnest earn-est sympathy to the bereaved wife and family. |
