Show June 17 Deadline For 2002 Antlerless Big Game Hunting Applications Big game hunters who want the best chance to hunt antlerless antler-less elk, deer, moose and doe pronghorn on public land in Utah this fall are reminded that their 2002 antlerless application must be received no later than 5 p.m. on June 17. "The antlerless application period is really short this year, so it's important that hunters send their antlerless applications in as soon as possible," says Suzette Fowlks, information l specialist for the Division of ' Wildlife Resources. "Hunters can start applying on June 4. "There are usually some antlerless permits available after the draw but they're mostly for hunts on private land, so if you want a permit for a public land area, it's important to get your application in." Those who applied in previous previ-ous years should receive a preprinted 2002 application in the mail by June 4. Those who don't receive an application by June 4 may obtain one from the Division of Wildlife Resources' Web site hunting and fishing license agents statewide or Division offices.
