Show Henries Will Be Honored On Golden Wedding Date The children of Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Henrie will honor them on the occasion of their golden wedding nniversary with an open house. The celebration is set for April 27 from 6 ntll 8 p.m. at the Spanish Fork almyra Stake Center, 505 East 9th Worth. Roy L. Henrie and Wanda toappell were married April 26, 1934 X the Manti IDS Temple. He was orn in Panguitch, a son of James N. nd Sarah Olive Lee Henrie and she ias born in Lyman, a daughter of illiam L. and Lenorah Cook .appell. She graduated from Bicknell High fjjhool and took classes at Utah ate University. He earned a ichelor of science and a master of ience degree from USU. He was employed by the Bureau of Indian Chairs, the Department of the In-i' rior and the State of Utah during ,'3 career. Both have been active members of the LDS Church for many years and osrved a two-year mission for the ; .urch. He also served as a bishop. The couple has seven children, six living: Norma, Jim, Max and Jay, Ciem; Donna, Spanish Fork; Janice, West Valley City; and Boyd Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Henrie (deceased). They have 36 grandchildren, two deceased; and three great-grandchildren. Since Mr. Henrie's retirement in 1971, they have served together as temple workers for over four years in the Manti and Provo temples as well as serving 18 months in the visitors center at the Idaho Falls temple. |
