Show mm mmwm- Neal Liston ESCALANTE Neal Liston, 90, of Escalante died quietly May 21, 1999 in the Garfield Memorial Hospital, in Panguitch. Neal was born Feb. 8, 1909 in Escalante, to Oscar and Elizabeth Haycock Liston, Lis-ton, the second of four children. Neal married his sweetheart Alberta Al-berta Twitchell on Mar. 12, 1930 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Grandpa-great, as he was affectionately affec-tionately called, was a kind, loving, gentle man, who will be greatly missed by his family. Neal is survived sur-vived by son, Robert (Louise) Liston Lis-ton of Escalante; daughter, Jaleen (Dwight) Vance of Austin, Tex.; 1 1 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta, children: Elizabeth and Nolan Benson; parents; brothers: broth-ers: Blaine and Harvey; and sister Thella. Funeral services were held on V - - - - j- Neal Liston Wednesday, May 26, in the Escalante Esca-lante LDS Stake Center. Interment was in the Escalante City Cemetery. Ceme-tery.
