Show California Man Dies Of Heart Ailment While Prospecting Near Milford .Glen Johnson Ward, 58, South Gate, Calif., was found dead Tuesday Tues-day in the Blue Mountain area west of Milford near the former Jockey Myers homestead. The body was found by the Hodge Brothers of Beaver, who notified Beaver County Sheriff Lee R. iFillmore by radio. Sheriff Fillmore, Bill Baker and Ken Myers My-ers investigated and returned the body to Milford Tuesday evening. Dr. D. A. Symond estimated Mr. Ward had died of a heart attack about 12 hours before the body was found. Mr. Ward was driving his jeep to a uranium mine in the area when he suffered the attack, and the jeep ran into a tree, the impact im-pact fencing his body pari way out of the vehicle. A brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Gray, were in Milford Wednesday arranging for the body to be shipped to California. |
