Show Items of Interest About People You Know in Milford SALLY JOAN PARR1TT and Ronald G. Rose were united in marriage in a candlelight ceremony cere-mony at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kil-lam. Kil-lam. Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. Bishop Edgar C. Edwards performed per-formed the wedding ceremony. The bride was beautiful in a pink lace gown with pink slippers and hat to match. She was given in marriage by her father. Maurice Root acted as best man. 1 Janet Root was matron of honor. Members of the family and close friends attended. A wedding reception was given in honor of the newlyweds on Saturday, Dec. 6th, in the LDS recreation hall. After a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Ely, iNev.. they are making their home in Milford. THE DECEMBER meeting of the E S A Sorority was held Monday, Mon-day, Dec. 8, at the Grace Jefferson home. Very interesting lessons on Mexico were given by Lela R.owley and Grace. Lela gave a history of Mexico, and Grace, having spent some lime there, explained some of the customs cus-toms and related personal experiences. experi-ences. The annual Christmas party, to follow the Mexican theme ' this year, was set for Dec. 22. Drawing for a doll and wardrobe ward-robe was set for Dec. 23 at the Firmage Theatre. Loretta Cline was welcomed back after a three-month vacation in Europe. Amanda Gay was born to Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lee, Nov. 15, at the Beaver County Hospital. The 'little one weighed 8 lbs, 13 oz at birth. THE E S A SORORITY held their monthly social for November --c- at the home of Grace Jefferson, ;' ; with Grace and Virginia Davis as i hostesses. The theme of the party was Switzerland, with the tables very boTutifully decorated with a Swiss village set in snow. Each little house was made from candy by Grace and Virginia. ,. They served delicious Swiss food as refreshment. THE LADIES' AUXILIARY to the B of R T was entertained Monday Mon-day night at their annual Christmas Christ-mas party by hostesses Janet Root, Veraa Tomsik, Eloise White and Margie Mecham The evening was spent at cards and prizes were awarded to Helen Leech and Mary Gribble at bridge, Patsy Smith and Vera Price, pinochle, pi-nochle, and the canasta prize was won by Zella Whiteside. Cut ': prize went to Virginia Beding- field. Gifts were exchanged, and a tasty carrot pudding was enjoyed by the ladies. Out of town members here for the party were Mary Gribble of Panaca, and Eva Hill of Caliente. Milford members attending were Louella Fisher, Joan Holland, Helen Leech,- Pat Nelson, Phyllis Price, Zella Whiteside, Virginia Bedingfield, Vera Price, Idonna Coleman, and newly initiated Patsy Smith. MRS. CARLIE ROBERTS and Vernon Gronning are making i plans for a Jan. 3rd wedding date Mrs. Roberts is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. Waddoups, and is employed at Dorothy's Beauty Salon. The couple rlan to make their home in Milford. THE LADIES SOCIETY to the B of L ,F & E held their regular meeting and election of officers Friday, Dec. 5. Newly elected officers are: La Vera Meeker, president; Jerry Memmott, vice president; Pat Johnson, secretary; Marjorie Har-ton, Har-ton, treasurer; Eva Banks, collector; collect-or; Magdalena White, chaplain; Christy Lyman and Winnie Johnson, John-son, musicians; Maurene Miller, warden; Alma Sly, conductor; Kate McDonald, delegate; Phyllis Erickson, alternate delegate; Virginia Vir-ginia Fowles, inner guard; Serelda Fernley, outer guard; Trustees: Phyllis Erickson, chairman; Mildred Mil-dred 'Coon, Liliian Fotheringham; Fay Thompson, flag bearer; Anne Bird, legislative representative; Margaret Lund, magazine correspondent. corres-pondent. Coffee and dessert were served by the committee, Faye Thompson, Merlin Merryweather and Virginia Fowles.
