Show NATIONAL PARK ASS'N I ADVERTISES ZION PARK I Zion National Park and the aur- I rounding region, especially Bryce'a I Canyon have been extensively writ- I ten up in a thirty page pamphlet I JUst issued by the National Park Association of Washington, D. C. The I beauties of the park are described in I glowing language, and the article is illustrated with many fine photo graphs of the most unusual sights. It is called as great and wonderful a place as Yosemite Park, and yet absolutely ab-solutely unique. The booklet, which was gotten up with the assistance of Prof. Fred Pack of the University of Utah, also gives a brief history of the settlement settle-ment of the region by the Mormons. The trails and roads are well described and full directions are given for reaching reach-ing the park. Cedar City is called a "bustling Mormon town, the starting place for these trips." Concluding, the author urges the state official and University of Utah to do everything possible to have Bryce Canyon also made into a national park. |
