Lourlinson, superintendent of Rainer National park and Joseph Joffe, secretary to jlr. Albright, and Mrs. Joffe. Highway Commissioners Lunt and Blood and State Highway Engineer Means were in Zion park Friday night en route to the Kaibab mountain. moun-tain. With them was H. A. Malek of Egypt. Mr. Malek was looking over road conditions in the desert country, but declared that deserts here have too many growing things to be called real deserts. He expects to build roads in Egypt for American tourists to ride over. Supt. and Mrs. Evans will leave Monday morning for the National Park conference at Mesa Verde. They will be away about ten days. Asst. Supt. Walter Ruesch arrived home Thursday night from his inspection in-spection trip across Grand Canyon to EI Tovar. |
