I saw the cutest thing today, a tiny little creeping baby doll, it really creeps too, in cunning print rompers. It's so realistic, its like end of looking through the small a telescope. Two gifts for men which caught my eye were a wool flannel robe in rich biown with lapels of tan. The belt, cuffs and tailored pockets are also trimmed in the tan; and some scarfs knit of Zephyr wool. You can choose a color to suit any man's taste among these, one in the new wine shade is particularly attractive, as is one of soft yellow w'ith brown threads interwoven. This store also has some fine wagons in all sizes. Xmas Candles Youll want the traditional Christmas candle in your window Christmas eve. Why not play safe this year and buy one of the beautiful electric candles, or buy them in sets of two to put on the mantel or to give to a friend. The shop I saw these also has something new in the way of Christmas tree lights, the bulbs are shaped like candles and carry the famous Mazda mark so you know they are dependable. Extra globes for your old sets can be bought in the shape of birds, trees, Santa Claus, etc. Every girl wants a new dress for the holiday parties. There is one made of luscious pink satin in princess style with a wide black velvet girdle which comes to a point in front and buckles in the back. This dress can be worn with or without the little belero jacket made of the same material with wide stiff revers, big puff sleeves and buttoned in front with two black velvet buttons. An afternoon dress, which could be worn to informal parties in the evening too, is of black crepe with tunic of black lace. It is buttoned down the front with d gold buttons, has short puff sleaves and the collar is lined with gold tafeta showing through the black lace. cloth-covere- FRUITLAND BOY DIES FOLLOWING YEARS ILLNESS Harold C.
