Show ' i J X - I ft Mr. and Mrs. Don Peterson Feted on Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Don Peterson were honored at a family party March 18, 1972, celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary, anniver-sary, having been married in Park City March 14, 1922. It was given by their sons and daughters and was held in the LBS Cultural Hall. A beautiful three-tiered wedding cake decorated dec-orated in white and gold was a center of attraction. A delicious buffet supper was served to the 50 family members mem-bers present. Later a musical program was rendered by the grandchildren and a niece of the Petersens. The surprise of the day was when their son Keith and family of T acorn a, Wash., arrived bringing the couple's only great-grandchild with them. The remainder of the evening was spent in visiting and reminiscing rem-iniscing of years gone by. Five of their children and families were present: Mr. and Mrs. Roy Petersen, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Petersen, Peter-sen, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Petersen, of Tacoma, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. (Shirley) Hall, Layton; Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Petersen, American Fork. Later that evening a telephone call from Mr. and Mrs. Dick (Donna) Kofford and daughters sending congratulations and best wishes from Honolulu, Hawaii was a happy climax to a wonderful family party. |
