Show First Foot Ball Game For Mount Pleasant is Scheduled Wasatch Academy Will Meet Price Academy Team at City Park. ; For the first time in the history of the school, .Wasatch is to have inter-scholartic inter-scholartic foot ball. The local season sea-son will open Saturday October 26th. Price Academy being the opposing team. The game will probably be played at the Base ball park, at Mt. Pleasant and sjnee it will be the first game of the kind ever played in Mt. Pleasant it should prove of interest to all lovers of athletics. The Wasatch boys have been training train-ing faithful.- and are in excellent condition alna iy for the game. The squad at present includes Bradley, center; E.iioi and JCnudsen, guards; Henry, Nor. nan, Peacock and S.Webb, tackier; Hur.iand And- erson.ends; Gus Jensen and C. Webb, haybacks; MurJo:k, full back; and Hunter, quarter back; with Dreage land Wilcox as substitutes. The average weight of the team is about 145 pounds and there are several fast men and considering everything ev-erything altogether the chances for a successful s3ason look very good. |
