Show CATHOLIC FAIR. The fair for St. Peter's Catholic church at the A. O. H. hall opened on Monday. The contests that have already begun are as follows: Gold watch Mias Nettie Beckers and Mi33 Kittie Moore. Bride doll Mlsa Mollie Murphy and Miss Mabel Sweenv. Violin John Gannon and Willie Dorian. At the last meeting for the fair the following committees wore appointed: Lady Forester' booth Mrs. Frank O'Brien, Mrs. Joseph McDonnell, Mrs. E. Cummings. Mrs. Maloney. Mrs. Judge, Mm Dee. Mrs. Lawler. Mrs. T. Ehret, Mlas Nellie Halligan and MLss M. Burke. St. Peter's booth Mrs. Lodsre. Miss Josie Sheehan. Miss Nellie Sullivan, Mrs. Sharpe, Mrs. Quane, Miss Annie O'Brien, Mrs, Kelleher, Mrs. Barich and Mrs. Lappin. Mrs. J. H. Lattrelle resigned the effic? of treasurer and Ms. J. McGinty was appointed in her place. A meeting cf the committees and all those interested in the fair was held in St. Peter's church at 2 p. m.. May 2 The members of the A. O. H. will as serable at the lodse rooms In the hall next Sunday at 7:30 a. m. and march in a body to St. Paul's church to receive re-ceive communion. The month of May was ushered in by high mass at St. Peter'3 church, at which the members of the junior choir smug. Throughout the month daily de- votions will be held at the church in the evening. |
