Show Joe Ward Honored On 77th Birthday The Joseph E. Ward family gathered in Parowan on the past week end to honor him on his 77th birthday, which was Feb. 23. Gathering here j for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Parker M. Ward, Laura Ward, Mrs. Kathy Nelson and I ' son Shane; Ellen and David Shaw, Mr. and Mrs. George Halterman, Diane and Danny Halterman; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert F. Wasden, Mrs. Ralph Starr and sons Tad and Cory, all of Cedar City, .v.'trj n't i Also Mrs. Alma Holt "of "St 1 George, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Coleman and daughter Natalie Nata-lie and Mary Ward, Salt Lake City and Sherry Wasden from Logan; Joining them were Mr. and Mrs. Newel Wasden and daughter Sandra of this city. A dinner was prepared and served by the family members mem-bers with Joe's sister, Pearl Russell, his brother Chester Ward and sister's in law, Barbara Bar-bara M. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. R. Taylor Miller eating dinner with them. Mr. Ward presented his entire en-tire family of children, grandchildren grand-children and great-grandchil-den with a pamphlet of his and Mrs. Ward's picture and their printed testimonies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mr. Ward has just returned from a three week visit with his daughters, Carey in Santa Barbara, Calif., and Zola in Las Vegas and their families. He returned to Salt Lake City Tuesday to visit for a time with his children there. Mr. Ward's main means of transportation is a bicycle and for a man 77 years of age he does better than people many years younger. |
