A phone call Tuesday of last week from Gayland Farrow Informed his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow that he had arrived safely In the USA after serving a year in Vietnam Viet-nam with the Navy. He and his family arrived here early this week for a visit after flying fly-ing to Arkansas where his wife ahd little son were visiting visit-ing with her family. By Donna Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hum-plierys Hum-plierys and family enjoyed a week end visit from their son in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larkin, also a niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Chase, all of Prove Brig. Gen. J. Frank Dalley is presently at Ft. Knox, Ky. for a week of schooling. Mrs. Esther Morton and son, Tony, returned to their home in Down-oy, Calif. Sunday after af-ter several days stay here as guests of Mrs. Morton's sister, Mrs. Helen Matheson. They also visited with their son and brother, Rodger Morton and family while here. Tony enlisted in the Marine Corps and begins training March 15. Miss Mimi Lowe, a CSU student stu-dent from Hawthorne, Nev. was here Saturday for an overnight over-night stay with her aunt, Mrs. Helen Matheson. Mrs. Deo White entertained in honor of her son Craig's birthday Friday. Enjoying the party were his friends from here and two overnight guests Brent Clark and Michael Mil-lardi Mil-lardi of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Davenport were happy to have their daughter and grandson, Mrs. Dannie Condie and Russell, also Miss Linda Adams of Cedar Ce-dar City here for a Sunday visit. The Summit and Enoch Cub Scouts will hold their banquet her.? Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Marc Allton ,and children returned to their home in Las Vegas, Nev. Sunday Sun-day after spending several days here with their folks, the Raymond Farrows. Miss Ro-layne Ro-layne Walker accompanied them here to spend the week end with her family, the Boyd Walkers. Miss Colleen Fife and Lee Tommy Olds also of Las Vegas, Veg-as, Nev. were Sunday visitors here. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Christiansen Chris-tiansen of Emery arrived here Saturday for an overnight stay with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley and family. Their daughter, Renee, a CSU student stud-ent also visited here. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Williams Wil-liams of St. George visited in Summit with their daughter-in-law and grandson, Mrs. Shirley Williams and Chad, also with Shirley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Sunday visitors at the Jack Farrow home was their daughter daugh-ter and family, the Clark Maxwells of Enoch. The Val Ellis family spent the weekend in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Riche Edwards of Greenville visited here Monday with their folks, the Arden Richards and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Mrs. Beverly Urie of Richfield Rich-field visited here last Thursday Thurs-day with her folks, the Ted Fifes and took her sister and little niece, Mrs. Karen Rider and Heidi, into Salt Lake City where Heidi was taken to the Primary Children's hospital for treatment of an allegery after the little girl became seriously ill. Her grandmother Mrs. Ted Fife traveled to Salt |
