Show LATEST STYLES IX CHAPKAUX INTRODUC ED BY LION'S On Saturday evening the Milforu. Lions put over a dinner party at the Atkin hotel, in honor of the ladies. The Lions appeared at the table wearing wear-ing some sample of feminine millinery; millin-ery; the ladies countered by wearing the regulation purple fez. The dinner was 'f nl-vened by many songs, including the favorite. "Old McDonald Had a Farm." This song-led song-led to some very clever improvised verses to fit certain members of the club, all of which kept the party in a continuous uproar. At the conclusion of the dinner a special program was handed out, under un-der the direction of President Lewis. First of all, Sam Cllne introduced the new candidates for club membership, member-ship, who were: Vernon-C. Johnson, 'LnMar Outzen, Rolf Bellingmo and George Fernley. Ardath Johnson then put over a recitation, entitled, "The Cursel of Drink," which was followed by a character impersonation by Al. Cline. An old fashioned spell-down, Lions vas Ladies, was the next number, and needless to say, this resulted in a victory for the ladies. The award for this contest proved to bo some advertising ad-vertising matter distributed for the benefit of Milford Realty Co., much to the disappointment or the winners. At the conclusion of the program the party moved over to the railroad athletic club dance, and we believe that the ladies will look forward to nother Fashion Review, when t a. new spring styles in millinery come in. |
