Show Doings in Star Activity Shown Activity of districts adjacent to Milford shows no sign of diminishing according to A. C. Nebeker, who is directing operations at the- Magnolia group south of the Moscow mine in all classes in a state-wide way. Sinking operations in the Magnolia group have reached a depth of 200 feet. The company expects to sink to the 500 level before efforts will be made to explore the vein intensively. On this property an excellent exposure expo-sure of lead-silver carbonate ore carrying car-rying an excess of iron, has been followed fol-lowed to a depth, of 200 feet in prospect pros-pect workings. The company now proposes pro-poses to .explore this siiowing thoroughly. thoro-ughly. Geological conditions are singularly singu-larly favorable. Monzouite intrusions fissure a highly soluble limestone. A northeast-southwest fissure paralleling parallel-ing those so strongly mineralized in the Moscow is crossed by strong north-south crossbreaks. Leasers operating at the Wild Bill and Cedar Talisman are marketing u good grade of ore. Mr. Nebeker reported re-ported that the group of operators working in the famous old Horn Silver Sil-ver mine is prospering. At the Moscow conditions are emi-neiuiy emi-neiuiy satisfactory. New ore is being opened up and shipments are continuing contin-uing steady. The Utah Premier mine ha,s started start-ed sinking its new shaft. Contractor are setting the machinery for a hoist and compressor. In the meantime the work will be maintained in the prospect pros-pect shaft, where in a number of caves of good ore awaits shipment. California capitalists are preparing prepar-ing to resume operations at the Humboldt Hum-boldt mine adjoining the Utah Pre-mieer. Pre-mieer. Considerable work has been done on the Humboldt group and u good shaft put down. Plans are being be-ing made to start exploration at the Croft mine in the next rew days.
