Show Msr. Karen Chcency Passes Away. Mrs. Karen Chcency, age 75 passed away at her home in Morgau City, Thursday night. For the past two years she has been almost helpless, having suffered two paralytic strokes during that time. The third attack came n few days ago, which finally resulted in her death as stated. Funeral services ser-vices were held at the Morgan tabernacle Friday at 2 p. 111. The house was beautifully decorated, de-corated, and stands of flowers added to the occassion. The speakers were Bishop Charles Turner, Hijhop Alonzo F.aucis, Uishop A. D. Dickson, Prrsi-dcut Prrsi-dcut W. H. Rich, and II. H. Crouch. All testified of the fidelity of the departed as a church worker. The pall bearers bear-ers weic, Jos, Rasmussen, Henry Rasmusscn (two sons; and N. J. Pcteson, Jas. Peterson, Geo. Peterson, and a Mr, Christcnseu. The body was interred in the Morgan cemetery. Thus cuds the mortal career of another of our old residents. They are passing away one by one. Soon we will have few among us who were connected with the early settlement of our little vally. |
