IS NOT INCONSISTENT. High School Debaters Decide in Favor of Partisanship. The Question. "Resolved, That Partisanship Partisan-ship Is Inconsistent with Patriotism," was decided In the negative at tho West sldo high school yesterday. The debate was under tho auspices of tho Women's Relief Re-lief corps, which presented a handsome gold badge to the winners and a Hag to tho loseis. Lloyd Brooke and Royal Mar-tlncau Mar-tlncau presented the negative side of the question. Tho debate occupied ono hour, each of tho four participants bringing up many good points and developing them In line form. Tho day was a banner ono for the high school In the line of special oxerclses. The regular recitations, which usually closo at 2:S0, ended at 1 o'clock, and at 1 .-15 a squad of cadets In full dress uniforms uni-forms gave an exhibition guard mount which was highly appreciated bv a large number of visitors. At 2:15 the debate was held in the large assembly, several musical numbers completing a most enjoyable en-joyable programme.
