Show Jerry Neusicii Held fo District Court Testimony Does Not Bear Out First Story of Permc's Killing Self-Defenso Self-Defenso tho Plea. Two Austrians told of the killing of Louis Pcrmo at Bingham, July -I, in Justice Jus-tice Bishop's court In Farmers' ward yesterday yes-terday morning. Jerry Neuslch was having hav-ing his preliminary hearing on the charge of murder. His Interests wero looked after by Attorney J. M. Hamilton, while WHIard Hanson represented tho State. At the conclusion of tho henrlng Neuslch was held to thb District court without ball. No evidence was introduced by the defense, de-fense, but the line of questions Indicate that a plea of self-defense will be made. Thp testimony did not bear out the flrxt version of the affair, which was that Jerry held Perme down while Frank Neuslch shot him to death. The witnesses wit-nesses said that Jerry and Perme were struggling together in tho bedroom of their boarding-house when Perme broko away and ran into the dinlng-rooin. Just as he went Into the dlnlng-rooni Frank Neuslch Ilrcd, the bullet going into Tonne's side, under tho arm, and ranging forward. Dr. Kiehl. the physician who attended Pcrmo after the shooting, and Deputy Sheriff Joe Sharp, who brought Neuslch back from Colorado after ho gave himself up at Pueblo, were tho other witnesses. |
