Show IRRIGATION CONGRESS WILL BE A HUMMER The Irrigation congress, which Is scheduled sched-uled for Ogden In July, will be the greatest great-est ever held, says CoL H. B. Max son, secretary of the National Irrigation congress, con-gress, who is in Salt Lake attending to business pertaining ,to . the event. He arrived ar-rived here yesterday from Nevada and will return this evening. Within four or five weeks information bureaus will be opened In this city and Ogdcn. These bureaus and the succeeding congress will not boom any particular section of the West, but'will sjve every section proper notice. . . Mr. Maxson says no one has been appointed ap-pointed to succeed Coh Edwin F. Holmes, who was compelled to resign from the presidency of the congress on account of ill-health, and he is unable to say who CoL Holmes' successor will be. |
