Marshal Ward said that it had been learned since the escape of Wol-bers Wol-bers that he had escaped from the federal prison at Tucson. Ariz., where he waa serving a sentence for the theft of automobiles. It is questionable at this time, he said, whether the federal officials would laki- him back to Tucson to serve out the remainder of his term there, or whether the authorities nc Alamosa, Colo., or those In Ugdea would take charge of the prisoner. He added that further investigation would in all probability show that Weibers was wanted at other places.
