Show INSTITUTE SET FOR SATURDAY Arrangements are completed for the third county school Institute of teachers, according to Superintendent; B A. Fowler. The meeting Is called for 10 a. m. Saturday, In tho Cen-! tral Junior High school building, and will end at 12:15 P m. I The November and December institutes in-stitutes aro being combined, Tho following program will be given : Miss Zlna Skeen of the plain City school will render a piano solo; Will O'Byrne, formerly head of tho department depart-ment of oral expression at the I gden High school, will givo a 16-minute t.ilk on tho subject of "Getting tho Thought from tho Printed Page"; Superintendent B. A. Fowler will make the announcements and deliver the Instructions, In-structions, following which the ,ir-ous ,ir-ous departments will separate for the departmental work at 10:40 a. in. Each department will take up the work for Us specific needs. The primary grades and the intermediate inter-mediate grades will meet under the supervision of "Primary .Supervisor Nellie Hondricks for demonstrations and a round-table talk of the problems prob-lems i K-rvisor Albert J, Towell will dis-CUI dis-CUI music plans and how to teat h music in the public schools. Mlna M Berlin will conduct the work In physical education and submit sub-mit the plans for the winter games. Thelma Stephens will submit plans on art work with expositions and notes and demonstrations will be made on the production of holtda posters In tho grammar and Junior high section Principal Willis Savage of the Eden schools will discuss the value of Silent reading, and Principal H.
