Show It's A Chance To Be An Angel Everyone's talking about angels these days, and residents of both Bryce Valley and Escalante Esca-lante have a chance to be an angel in their own community. Angel trees are located in Escalante at Cottam's Canyon Country and in Tropic at Doug's Place. Anyone can take an angel from the tree. The angel has a number on it and sufficient information about a needy local child or family to help the donor make a wise choice in gift purchase pur-chase or preparation. The name of the recipient remains unknown until the gift is matched by number. num-ber. Food boxes will also be prepared pre-pared and distributed to the elderly elder-ly and the needy. Donations of non-perishable food items are needed and cash donations are much appreciated. Checks may be made payable to Safe and Stable Families. In Tropic, gifts should be left under the tree at Doug's Place by Friday, Dec. 18. For convenience, conveni-ence, the Grand Staircase Inn in Cannonville is also participating as a dropoff point for gifts.
