Show TTropic gicwi By Louise Ott 679-8776 Mondell, Florence and Skyler Syrett, accompanied by Ron and Susan Harris and children went to Arizona to spend the holiday with Sydney Syrett. Isn't there a basketball bas-ketball game with Brigham Young University playing Arizona there on Saturday? They are enjoying en-joying the time with Sydney and the warm weather. Mary Lee and Clare Ramsay had all of their children home for the holiday, Dennis and Brenda Shakespear from Kanab and Wade and Sheri Lyn Ramsay and son Taylor from Salt Lake City. Lowell and Margaret Mecham had Melva Redford, Joan and Bob Winger from West Valley, along with Stan and Nellie Rae Mecham and son Bodie Mecham, and Mark and Barbie LeFevre. Gloria Hayden and Ana Marie Johnson had dinner with the Doug ; Ahlstrom family. '. Jerry and Carol Pollock and David and Kathryn Pollock had a lovely dinner with Eva and Larvin Pollock. Faye and DeVar Pollock traveled trav-eled to Orem. Shauna and Blaine Anderson and daughter Holly Anderson were in Orem with Blaine's brother. Visiting with Fred and Tonya Syrett were Tonya's mother, Gloria Glo-ria Clark, and sister and brother-in-law Deene and Ron Baugh West Valley, plus Tawnee and Andy Monroe and daughter Har-ley, Har-ley, and Gary Syrett. Ronnie Brinkerhoff is home after af-ter successful surgery in Salt Lake City. It was reported that she would be going to Las Vegas, Nev. with daughter Amber. Ronnie Ron-nie said that she plans on staying here and is doing ok. Arthur and Vicki Syrett were with David and Debbie Jensen in Central. Vicki reports that Mike and Stacy Jensen have moved into their new home in Enoch. Charlie Mortensen from Parowan came a several days before the holiday. He got a ride with Mitch and Jessica Littlefield to help his grandparents Charles and EvaDean Francisco. Then, his parents Lloyd and Helena Mortensen and brother William Mortensen joined them. Adrian and Glenna Pollock were in Fredonia Ariz. Jack and Gays Greenhalgh were in Las Vegas with their son. Wallace and Mary Ott went somewhere for the big day, don't know which direction they went or where they spent the day. Kent and Betty Wintch had a nice quiet day together enjoying each other. Elaine Brown from Aurora visited vis-ited recently with Sara Littlefield, looking over the old homestead before it is sold. Steve and Nancy Littlefield visited their mother, Sara, on Friday. Fri-day. The weather has been beautiful beauti-ful for this time of year, fluffy clouds floating around. This reporter re-porter discovered that a lot of families cherished the time spent together building a lot of happy memories. Ron, David and Joey McGee brought their aunt Minnie Nielson home after Thanksgiving. They got their Christmas tree. Ron is feeling a lot better and happy to do the things he enjoys doing again. Mondell and Florence Syrett and family, along with Susan and Ron Harris and family were in Arizona visiting with Sydney Syrett for the holiday. Faye and DeVar Pollock spent some quality time with their families fami-lies over Thanksgiving. They attended a recital where granddaughter grand-daughter Rachel Pollock participated, partici-pated, visited sons Marty, Ilene, Gary and Connie Ott, and saw all the beautiful sights that are available avail-able at this time of year. Dixie Shakespear reports that there were 57 of her family here for Thanksgiving. They ate at the LDS Church. The weather was so warm. Dixie spent a day in Kanab with daughter Arvon Button. But-ton. They made 46 pints of jam. On her way home she stopped in and saw Louie Shakespear, had a good visit with her and Janette Coleman. Janette stays with her mother at night. Then, Dixie met her son Rhett and Christine Shakespear in Cedar City. They took her to Las Vegas, Nev. to visit with Clella and Norm Littlefield. Little-field. Sara Littlefield made one of her special popcorn cakes for Dixie to take to Norm and Clella. Lesa and Bret Taylor were in Salt Lake City for the weekend where they met Bret's family for a Christmas party. Rick and Renon Bybee took their daughter Brooke to Primary Children's Hospital for tests. |
