Show Panquitch Havs By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 Clear weather made traveling to and from Panguitch a snap for the many folks concerned for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Tommy Mosdells were here to see his folks Jerry and Laura Mosdell and brothers Todd and Jody. In the LDS 2ndWard, Steven Moore, son of Kevin and Deanna Moore, was ordained a priest. Speakers in Sacrament Meeting were Mike Savage, Panguitch State Mission president and Devon De-von Owens, high councilman. Talented little Karli Owens, daughter of Gary and Karla Owens sang two lovely songs. Dr. Richard Birch and wife Teresa have a new baby girl. Mamie and Barbara Talbot enjoyed en-joyed driving to Enoch to eat Thanksgiving dinner with Alan and Mickey Talbot's family and to spend time holding, oohing and aahing over the newest family member little Kinci Jo Weaver. She's an angel. Cleave and Tami Weaver and two children visited grandma Mamie on their way to Beaver to see Cleave's grandfather. Dennis and Karen Talbot Williams Wil-liams came from South Jordan to spend a day with Mamie and Barbara and breath some fresh wide open country air, to renew ties and catch up on family news. (See PANGUITCH on page 4-A) Panguitch News From page 2-A Sean and Jenifer Stowell came from Provo to spend the weekend with his grandmother, Merle Stowell. Neucille Yardley spent a week in Las Vegas at the birth of a baby girl born to Bruce and Janeal Dodds Carter. Little granddaughter Kaylee was born Nov. 18 at Nellis Air Force Base where daddy is employed. Two girls and two boys were in the loving family. After Neucile came, the Yardley's son Jimmie V. and wife Claudia and two daughters Megan and Rachel, came from Centerville to spend Thanksgiving. Jim V. put up the Christmas lights for dad Jim as a birthday present. Troy and Colleen Pollock and son Kazan were at the Ralph Gouldings. Troy helped with some fix-it jobs. Rhoana Workman's daughter Mickie came and picked her up - for holiday dinner at their house. Rhoana has been in the Richfield hospital since then. Kelly and Libby Christianson had their house newly shingled and painted. It is the big brick pioneer house known locally as the M.M. Steele house. The initials ini-tials are for Mahonri Morran-chomer. Morran-chomer. Who ever was brave enough to get up on that very steep, very high roof to shingle and paint deserves cheers. Kelly and Libby have done a fine job of landscaping also. Former Panguitch resident Jim Duckett Sr. died Nov. 28 in Las Vegas, Nev. He was the former owner of the Flying M. Cafe. His son Jim Jr. is married to Barbara Jean Frandsen, Clark and Gwen Frandson's daughter. ' Doug and Darlene Evans had their kids Ryan and Jennie Pier-son Pier-son Mickelson and baby here. Son Brett Pierson came from Es- ' calante, also. Dave and Karran Harris had sons Dan, Russell and Brian, two wives and a baby home. Candie Orton Perkins and her husband Gary and son were at John and Carol Ortons. Brady Orton was home also. In 2nd LDS Ward Sacrament Meeting, Brandi Morgan, daughter daugh-ter of Dempsey and Patti Morgan, was baptized by Dale Baldwin and confirmed by Dick Excell. Brandi is the granddaughter of Boyd and Renee Owens. Mark Tebbs, son of Mike and Margaret Tebbs, was ordained a Priest. Margaret's parents were here. In LDS Sacrament Meeting, speakers were Maurietta Syrett, Karen Ross and Wayne Ross. The Young Woman and leaders sang a beautiful song. |
