Show ! : I i i i Brandi Morgan Brandi Morgan Receives Award PANGUITCH Garfield County 4-H and First Security Bank have chosen Brandi Morgan, 18, as the Outstanding 4-Her for 1998. Morgan had been active in 4-H the last few years and this last year has helped run the Character Counts program. Through the program, she has taught 12 classes a month at Panguitch Elementary School on such subjects as respect, responsibility, responsi-bility, trustworthiness, caring, citizenship, citi-zenship, fairness and decision making. mak-ing. These classes were to help teachers with their goals of teaching responsible citizenship to students. She has also given of her time to read with students at the library in the literacy program as well as helping with 4-H camp as a crafts leader. She was a blue ribbon winner win-ner at the state 4-H contests held last July, placing in the Turkey Barbecue contest. Morgan will receive a $50 savings sav-ings bond from First Security Bank in recognition of this award. She is a daughter of Dempsey and Patty Morgan of Panguitch. |
