Show JULY 15, 1986 church Kaysville student LDS Missionaries serving internship Kaysville native Brad Gerrard, a senior at the University of Utah, is serving a summer quarter internship with the Mountain Public Relations Department in Salt Lake City. Bell-Uta- h A mass communications major with an emphasis in public relations, Gerrard is scheduled to graduate from the U. in December. He was selected for the internship after interviewing with Brent Check-ettan assistant staff manager for Mountain Bell. The internship is designed to give students practical experience to go along with knowledge gained in the classroom, says Checketts. MOCKLI Called to serve ELDER LLOYD ELDER GOLDSBERRY Elder Brad Goldsberry has accepted a call to serve in the Tallahassee, Florida mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints. Gerrard feels the internship is an important part of his education and will help him find work after graduation. Public relations is an exciting field, he says. Gatten, son of O. Jay and Tora Gatten, has been called to serve in the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo Mission. He will enter the MTC July 30. Jeff recently completed his freshman year at Weber State College where he was majoring in premedicine and was a member of the track team. Jeff competed nationally in the decathlon and was named to the 1984 USAToday High School All American Track and Field Team.
