Show LOCAL WOMEN ASSIST IN RED CROSS WORK Springville women will have completed approximately one hundred hun-dred sweaters for the Red Cross during the past year, according to Mrs. D. B. Welch, chairman of the Red Cross knitting division. The sweaters have been made for women wo-men and children as well as for men. It is requested that all sweaters sweat-ers out now, be completed and handed in by the first week in January. When a new shipment of yarn arrives, notice will be given in the paper and the yarn will be available by contacting Mrs. Welch. In addition to the large corps of women knitting throughout the city, Mrs. Welch has been assisted assist-ed in the work by Arlene Mendenhall Menden-hall and Mrs. F. V. Martin. |
