Show PLANS COMPLETE FOR ANNUAL GOLD-GREEN BALL Attractive Floor Show And Crowning Of King And Queen Will Be Features Everything is In readiness for Kolob stake M. I. A. Gold and Green ball scheduled for December 29 at Memorial hall. The affair is planned as one of the most elaborate elabor-ate and charming entertainments of its kind this season. The dance will begin promptly at 9 p. m., with voting for the stake queen to take place between 9 and 9:30 p. m. The stake queen will be selected from the five ward queens. Following the crowning of the ward queen, there will be an attractive at-tractive floor show featuring a Spanish dance number by Marjorie' C. Miner, another number by the Junior and Explorer groups and by the M Men and Gleaners group. Eight couples, selected from the various wards of the stake, will demonstrate the M. I. A. dance. Nancy Sorenson has been selected select-ed at the Mapleton queen, with the king and other attendants to be selected. Elma Patrick will represent the Fourth ward as queen, with Max Morgan, king, and Janet Groesbeck and Louie Thorn, train bearers. Venice Whiting is Third ward queen, to appear with Paul Finley, king, and Camille Livingston and Rodger West, trainbearers. Donetta Fry will represent the First ward as queen, with Dee Sanford, king, and Afton Maycock and Louis B. Childs, trainbearers. Selected to represent the stake as flower girls are Dianna Childs, Denise Coffman and Janet Llewellyn. Llewel-lyn. AH M. I. A. workers and the general gen-eral public are invited to attend the ball, which is under the direction of the stake M. I. A. leaders with cooperation of all wards of the stake. |
