Show Whiterocks Ward Schedules Dance To Raise Funds Members of the Whiterocks ward are sponsoring an evening of dancing Friday, Feb. 24, to raise necesary funds to furnish the LDS chapel now nearing completion. Delicious refreshments of all types will be sold by the LDS girls' organization. Another attraction at-traction will be a colorful bazaar, ba-zaar, at which various items of clothing, quilts, and other articles ar-ticles will be displayed for sale, or disposed of at the auction to be held at intermission. The M.I. A. is selling tickets for the dance, assisted by James Bacon, president of the Uintah Basin Indian Mission, and Elders El-ders Doyle Johnson and Vernon Morris. The Whiterocks ward bishon-ric bishon-ric advises that this is not the official opening social. That event will take place later, after af-ter completion and dedication of the chapel, and will be free of charge. |
