Show Ftlontwel-ftlonarch Mrs. E. Brown A large crowd attended the Sweetheart ball Saturday evening eve-ning Peggy Boren was crowned queen, with Cleo Crow and Sharon Shaw as attendants. A floor show was presented and ice cream and cakes were sold during the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Johnson, and Benj. Johnson are visiting this week in Anaconda, Mont, with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Johnson. John-son. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Larsen have been caring for their place during their absence. Harvey Adams and Mrs. Arthur Ar-thur Brown visited this week in Orem with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Adams, and other relatives. Mrs. Myrtle Thompson underwent un-derwent an operation last Wed- , nesday at the Roosevelt hospital. , The Montwel MIA visited the Neola MIA Tuesday, evening. A basketball game was played during the evening between the I Explorer groups, with Neola defeating de-feating Montwel. Miss Lorna Hamilton, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, was a guest of Irene Blanchard for a few days last week. A scouting program, conducted conduct-ed by Scounmaster Dan Pace, was presented Sunday in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting. Maurel Taylor, Lynn Taylor, Mae Mower and Melvin Parry were participants. Counselor Russel Todd, of the Stake presidency, was present. Mrs. Vick Brown and Mrs. Nellie Brown went to Price with Vick Brown this week. They will be guests of the Joe Glea-tons. |
