Show A SOFT GENERATION By BISHOP E. M. STIRES WE HAVE grown soft. We do not like the word sacrifice. It suggests inconvenience. incon-venience. The time has come for us to learn from those whose economic, eco-nomic, political and religious convictions con-victions we constantly reject as untrue un-true and destructive. Nazi, Fascist Fas-cist and Communist show a devotion devo-tion to a cause which puts our lukewarm, domesticated patriotism to shame. It is not sufficient to be known as "good citizens"; we must be good for something. Our greater problem is the number of Intelligent people who are morally unemployed. |
