Show a. f. II. S. NEWS The following St. Patrick's program pro-gram was presented to the students Monday: Group singing (a number of Irish songs) conducted by K. J. Bird. Prayer Faye Clark. Song Ladies Trio. Reading-Jean Holmsteud. Song Male Glee. Talk Sherman Greenwood. Reading-Mae Whitby. Last Friday the F. F. A. had the assembly in charge. The following program was announced by Ralph Spencer, F. F. A. president. Duet-Fern Robinson and Phil Jensen. Prayer A. B. Allen. Song Boy's Juartette. Picture demonstration by Dr. u. Hansen of the B. Y. U. The pictures included places in Mexico. Dr. Hansen and Professor H. R. Merrill of the B. Y. U. had visited. Those who won parts in the one-act one-act play, "What They Think," by Rachel Crothers, which will be entered en-tered at the contest in Provo this spring are: Mary Walton, Edith Clarke, Jack Bunton and Paul Wiser. This is the first time the American Fork High school has entered the dramatic 'contests. The -aim in entering en-tering is to give the students new opportunities, and to meet people participating in this particular line. Members of the Speech B class who did not try-out for parts acted as judges. Albert Wright of the Brigham Young University entertained Junior high and high school students Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. Wright impersonated French and English characters of the early sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. |
