Cummings Wilford Ward Mutuals Hold Combined Dance The Cummings and Wilford Wards combined their Mutual this week and sponsored a Valentine Dance, Wednesday for all of mu-tual age. Mrs. Paul Heath, Mrs. Janet Cummings, Mr. Marvin Sim-mons and Mr. Curtis Stevens were in charge of the evening fun. Bach Concert Scheduled For Kingsbury Hall . . . The Utah Symphony Orchestra and the University of Utah will join together in presenting an all Bach concert Thurs. (tonight) at Kingsbury Hall at 8:30 p.m. The concert will consist of the Branden-burg Concerti Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5. Solosists for the concert will be Gladys Gladstone Rosenberg, pi-ano; Harold Wolf, violin; Eugene Foster, flute, Louis Booth, Gary Post and Blaine Edlefson, oboe; Martin Zwick clarinet; Douglas CrcJg, bassoon, and Don C. Peter-son and Maurice Tueller, horns. Twenty members of the Utah Symphony string section will par-ticipate in this concert. Tickets for this event are avail-able at the Utah Symphony office and also at the University of Utah. Special rates are scheduled for the regular Utah Symphony and Uni-versity of Utah Lecture and Art-ists series subscribers. Special rates will also be available for stu-dents and faculty members. TRA VELERS . . . It was off to Aspin Colorado, for Mr. and Mrs. Moe McCullough February 13, for a short vacation. They will be joined Saturday by their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards Mr. and Mrs. K. West, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Bell, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bradshaw. A week of skiing and fun is planned by all. |
