Show OLYMPUS HIGH By Kathleen Hinckley Over six-hundred mothers and daughters participated in an evening eve-ning of fun and entertainment last Thursday, Feb. 7, at the annual mothers and daughters night. The evening began with an excellent ex-cellent book review narrated by Miss Helen Kimball. Her beautiful beauti-ful dramatization of the book, kept everyone spellbound for nearly two hours. An excellent program, under the direction of Vera Ann Lenroot, followed the book review. A mother and daughter tribute was rendered by Mardy Ellgren and her mother. Bonnie Baker and Judy Chatelin and their mothers, favored favor-ed the group with a vocal selection. A light luncheon was served in the gymnasium, during which time more program was provided including includ-ing a pantomine and a tap dance. As a favor, each mother was given one long stemmed red rose. The evening was a tremendous success and the officers of the Girls' Association are to be congratulated con-gratulated for doing a superb job. |
