Show f i : . 1 Y Mary Wiseman MED EX MARY SELECTED BPW WOMAN OF YEAR The B.P.W. Club meeting was held at the home ofMrs. Phyllis Symond, Tuesday, January 3rd. President, Veda Cox welcomed the guests and members. After Af-ter a short business meeting, meet-ing, she turned the meeting over to the program chairman, chair-man, Beatrice Oxley, who Introduced In-troduced the State Officers and guests, including: State President, Gretta Baur, Past State President, Madeleine Parker, Vice-President, Peggy Hansen, President-Elect, President-Elect, Mary Blumdell, Attorney, At-torney, Irene Warr, all of Salt Lake City, State Treasurer, Virginia Blom-erth, Blom-erth, arid Alice Iverson, both of Hurricane. Mary Wiseman was selected select-ed the "Woman of the Year", and was presented with a beautiful corsage by Mrs. Patricia Pimpau, and a gift certificate by club president, Veda Cox. Those giving tributes to Mary were: her sister, Irene Warr, Supt. of Nurses, Jacqueline Jac-queline Williams, Mrs. Ann-Marie Ann-Marie Gay, from the Clinic, State Pres., Gretta Baur, Past State Pres., Madeleine Parker, Vice -Pres., Peggy Hansen, Pres. -Elect, Mary Blundell, and Beatrice Ox-ley. Ox-ley. A beautiful cake, decorated decorat-ed in gold and green was presented pre-sented to Mary, and it was I served with ice cream, punch and coffee. Those enjoying this very interesting evening, besides the guests already named, were: Adrienne Roberts, Son r ia Munk, Paula Pritchard, ; Patricia Lister, Ann Johnson, John-son, Arlene Malchus, Lola Bridge, Nelda Memmott, Bonnie Williams, Louise Long, Mary Maxey, Jose-I Jose-I phine Killam, and hostesses, ' Phyllis Symond, Patricia Rimpau, and Beatrice Oxley. |
