Show A newly formed organization, organiza-tion, Public Land Users Coalition, will work for the repeal of the "Organic Act," and less bureaucratic control con-trol of both public and private pri-vate lands, according to it's president, Wallace Foth-eringham, Foth-eringham, Milford, Utah. The Surface Management Regulations, and the Grazing Management Regulations, published in the Federal Register, Reg-ister, have restrictions that will destroy ranchers, farm -ers, foresters, and miners, and increase inflation, and UJ3. dependency on foreign m inerals, energy, and farm and building products, he said. Land withdrawals through the Wilderness Act, National Parks, and roadless areas, are shutting off millions of acres to any kind of development, develop-ment, and even from recrea-tionists, recrea-tionists, such as rockhounds, hunters and fishermen. We cannot any longer tolerate this infringement upon an es-, es-, tablished way of life, Foth-eringham Foth-eringham said. Much of this legislation has been brought about by pressures from environmental en-vironmental groups such as the Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth, uninformed leg-eslators, leg-eslators, and bureaucratic agencies who have gained almost al-most dictatorial powers over public lands. The Public Land Users Coalition (PLUC) is the result re-sult of a seminar held last August in Milford and an organizational or-ganizational meeting in Ely, Nevada in November. The next meeting is scheduled for Tonopah, Nev. January 14th, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Several Sev-eral good speakers are scheduled. sche-duled. Anyone can join PLUC who is interested in stopping the bureaucratic take over of this country. We are actively working with our congressional congres-sional representatives on present legislation such as the Mining Law of 1977, and the Wilderness and Roadless Areas bills. I believe it would be safe to say, N. E. Wilson, Sec. of PLUC, said, that our people don't like executive orders, the Federal Fed-eral Register and the expanding expand-ing bureaucracy. It's time Congress returns this country coun-try to the basic concepts outlined out-lined in the constitution, and quits passing more and more bad or ambiguous laws, that are then administered by bureaucratic bu-reaucratic regulations published pub-lished in the Federal Register. Reg-ister. Persons wishing to make reservations can contact the Silver Queen, Box 311, Tonopah, Ton-opah, Nev. 89049 or phone 702-482-6291. For futher information about PLUC write PLUC, N. E.
