Going back to a full court press, the Tigers came back to within three points before the bell rang. They could have used a technical on the Ram bench, but Coach Riggs wasn't about to make the same mistake that Beck did at Sallna. Parowan looked real good without one of their starters, as Coach Riggs went all the way with five men. Their passing and team work were .sharp. They're quick and good shooters, hitting 49 from the field and 45 from the line. ; Their percentage from the line was even better bet-ter until the last three minute charge by the Tigers th period, and every Tiger scored. The Tigers hit 52 from the field and 53 from the line with 28 turnovers and 48 rebounds. Enterprise had only 29 from the field and 55 from the line with 19 turnovers and 31 rebounds. Ken Jones had 26 points and 28 rebounds to lead all scorers. Brad Kirk had 15 points, six rebounds and Gary Mayer had 10 points and six rebounds. The Tigers are equal to the task if they can get things put together, but they won't be able to play three minutes in the first period and the fourth period to do it. |
