Show Funeral Services Held Wednesday at Moroni For William Storey Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon in the East ward chapel for William Storey. Bishop Morgan Lamb was in charge. The choir sang "O My Father", "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "Sometime We'll Understand". The speakers were Patriarch Orlando Bradley, Daniel Anderson, David Nicholas and Bishop Lamb. Additional musical numbers were: a violin solo, "A Perfect Day", by Dorane Sorensen, accompanied by Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes; vocal duet, "O Lord Abide With Me", Mrs. P. J. Draper Jr. and Mrs. Elmo Irons, accompanied by Miss Pearle Arn-oldson. Arn-oldson. Mr. Storey died at his home Sunday Sun-day after an illness of 18 "months of neuritis and complications. He was 79 years of age, having been born June 7, 1854, in Stvens Point, Wis., a son of George and Amanda Kump Storey. He came to Utah with his parents when he was a small boy. He was married in 1882 In Moroni to Louise Cloward. She died 12 years ago. Surviving are eight sons and daughters: I. W. Storey, Salt Lake; Arthur Storey, Blackfoot, Idaho; Ray Storey, Castlegate; LeRoy, Leo and Mrs. Ethel Bailey, Mcroni; Mrs. Myrtle Hutchinson, Mt. Pleasant; 29 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Rome Bradley, Butte, Montana. |
