Show County to Borrow $34,000 to Cover Last Year's Bill-v It is Reported According to advices reaching this office, arrangements have been made by the county commissioners to borrow bor-row approximately $34,000 with which to pay some of last year's bills as well as certain current ex-' ex-' penses. Of this amount, the report says, $19,000 will be used to pay outstand- ing warrants for 1933 against the 1 general fund, also interest on the ' same. This is being secured by serial ser-ial bonds which begin maturing in 1 1936 at the rate of $2,000 annally. The other $15,000 will be borrowed to pay current expenses of the ', county general fund during 1934. It will be secured by tax anticipation notes against the 1934 taxes. |
