Show I ' FOUNTAIN GREEN i ' By Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Earl Blackham of Moroni are rejoicing over the arrival ar-rival of a baby girl on March 13. They are here at present with her ni ,ther, Mrs. Lydn Guymon. Mrs. Ethel Anderson received word of the arrival cf a baby boy at the heme cf Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mangelsnn cf Levan. The mother was formerly Miss Evanelle Anderson. Ander-son. Word was received this week of r.l-.p fmval cf a baby girl on Mir. 10 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Allred of Centerfield. This is their ninth baby. ba-by. Last Tuesday an accident occurred occur-red when John, the 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Osmond Crowther, had just crossed the street and some hit and run driver ran into him and broke his leg. The driver did not stop but one of the neighbors who happened to see the accident noticed not-iced it to be a small coupe. The boy was immediately rushed to Ne-phi Ne-phi for medical aid, and Is improving improv-ing now. The Moroni Stake annual M men and Gleaner Girls Banquet was held in Ftn. Green last Wednesday evening, even-ing, where a splendid program and an elaborate banquet were enjoyed. There were over 1500 present. A dance which followed was well attended at-tended by the young folks. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Lund and baby of Salt Lake visited a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Niels Lund. A benefit dance for Mrs. Charles R. Coombs was given last Friday evening under the direction of the Seventies quorum. A large number was present. Mrs. Cleo Jahnson held the lucky number for the turkey tur-key and Reldon Holman for the quilt. The Moroni Stake Day for all Piimsry officers and workers was held Saturday at Community Hall, where an unusually large number was present to see the demonstia-tion demonstia-tion of the "Spring Festival" which each ward will present some time during May. A large number of children from the different wards participated and it was a big success. suc-cess. Pictures were taken of the children who took part and of the Stake officers. Mr. and Mrs. Max Sundby of Idaho Ida-ho visited this week with Mr. and 'Mrs. A. H. Allred. Mrs. Allred accompanied ac-companied them1 back to visit a few days. Miss Lucile Anderson is visiting at Levan with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mangelson. |
