Show AROUND TOWN A baby boy arrived Saturday, March 10th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Marx. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Englefleld became the parents of a new son Wednesday, March 14. Mrs. Amasa Ericksen is visiting at Kenilworth with her daughter, daugh-ter, Luella, who is superintendent of the hospital there. t Mr. William Hansen is ill at hia home here. Mrs. Etta Petersen visited with her daughter, Margaret, in Prove Monday. Margaret is a sophomore at the B. Y. U. Miss Margaret Hansen was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised with a party at hei 'home Friday evening. The North Sanpete high school will present the opera "Tulip Time" under the direction of A. B. Larsen, the second week in April. The trouble with some of our public pub-lic servants is, that they have been in office just a little bit too long. Sheriff and Mrs. Ed J. Peterson have returned from a vacation to the Pacific Coast. It was the sheriff's sher-iff's first vacation in seven years. He discovered evidences of a good deal of beer on the trip, indicating that in some sections repeal has come with a vengeance. Dr. W. P. Winters and son Glen were Salt Lake visitors Wednesday. The Friendship club met at the heme of Mrs. Carrie Wright Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. Members who attended spent the time socially and at cards. James Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Jacobs, is visiting here. The Misses Ludean and Beth Ericksen Er-icksen of Ephraim, spent Thursday evening at the home of their grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. E. H. Ericksen. They rendered two duets at the insurance meeting held here that evening. Members of the Young Ladies Bridge Club met at the home of Mrs. We-ley Marx Wednesday afternoon. af-ternoon. Several tables of bridge were played and high score was won by Miss Ada Tanner. Light refreshments re-freshments were served at the close of the afternoon.
